This Curvy Feature is a guest post by a hard working Mum of 3 from NSW. Susan has kindly spared some time to tell us a little about herself and the businesses she runs. If you want to know more about Thermomix you’ve come to the right blog post… After you finish reading click on the links to her Facebook pages and show some love!
Hi, I’m Susan Crossley… I am a mum of 3 – a 14yr old girl, a 12yr old girl and a 6yr old boy. I work fulltime for Toukley Neighbourhood Centre Managing – the No Interest loan scheme for people on Centrelink or low incomes. But that’s not all… I am a part time Thermomix Consultant and I also run a holiday management business in which I manage 4 holiday homes. Three of these gorgeous retreats are at Eaglereach resort at Vacy and one is in the Blue Mountains. I love hanging out with my family in my spare time. Also, I love keeping fit and going to Empower Body Fitness.
And so, I want to share with you my side hustle of Thermomix! People ask me why I love my Thermomix so much. Well this is why. Not only does it talk me through recipes step by step – thanks to the built-in cook book that cleverly attaches to the side – but it weighs, mixes, sauté’s, whisk’s, steam’s, blend’s, cook‘s and carries out the entire process from start to finish. Oh, and minimal washing up because you’re doing everything in the one bowl? BOOM! Stuff of dreams! This machine has revolutionised my family’s lives.
Thermie gets used multiple times every day and my confidence in my cooking abilities has sky rocketed. Everything is made from scratch – THE most amazing mango chicken curry – possibly the best curry we’ve ever eaten, healthy fruit smoothies, freshly made bread, lunchbox snacks, 3 sec salads. Pretty much everything is possible with the Thermomix.
To us Thermomix is worth every cent. It’s empowered me to get experimental in the kitchen and I now cook pretty much everything from scratch, I know every single ingredient my family is eating and, most importantly, my kids have developed a passion for cooking and I now actually allow them in my kitchen to use the Thermomix as it is so easy to use. That, my friends, is something you can’t put a price on!
